- Hate to break this to you, but this has been part of dos.library V36. All
- programs that use dos.library pattern matching will accept character ranges,
- complement ("anything but these characters/strings"), alternative strings,
- character groups, empty string and repetition.

- AFAICS all regular expressions are covered by these primitives, so our pattern
- matching should be just as powerful as in UNIX.

- Even better, Amiga wildcard expression matching is done after command-line
- syntax checking by the program so "mv *" will be recognized as a mistake--while
- UNIX will happily and destroy your files for you.

- Don't you mean "rename across devices"? Rename simply isn't the same as mv.
- This would be a useful addition I agree. But if you want a real Move or mv then
- get one from Aminet. It's full of the buggers. Even ARP used to have it.
